Lectures in Waste management, delivered to Master level students at the Industrial Management Faculty, supply knowledge on the waste genesis, type and classification. Methods for analysis and balancing between technology, environment protection and economics are presented. Students are informed on the economic instruments of the waste management legal basis.

Economic criteria and incentives in waste management as well as different organizational approaches for their practical realization are stressed on. The education is aimed at supplying students with knowledge on methods and approaches in the waste management in Republic of Bulgaria. The goal is to prepare rationally thinking specialists who are able to implement economics knowledge in the area of waste management.
