The discipline of "Morphogenesis" introduces to students the theoretical foundations and the essence of the processes of creating and shaping objects in the material world. The categories of "order", "chaos", "form" and "space" are analyzed. The basic concepts of "symmetry" and "rhythm" are examined. Gradually students get acquainted in detail with the systematization and classification of shapes, structures and spaces, and with the principles and methods of their organization and construction, as well as with their combination and connections. Biomimetic approaches in shapeforming are also taught.
Students develop written essays, test papers, and modelling tasks and assignments during the semester. The educational accent is put on the mastering the features of construction, and on the ability to model and develop the form.
