The subject is the last fifth of „Wood Science”. It complements the knowledge of undergraduate level mainly in the direction „Properties of Wood”. It includes question that allow further exploration in the fields of „Anatomy of Wood” and „Wood Quality”.
The used is been examined by the most modern methods. Studied the methods for non-destructive quality control, properties and wood defects. Attention is drawn to the relationship between particular quality characteristics. Knowledge of less known timber species that are not studied at undergraduate level is further expanded.
