Aims and Objectives: The purpose of the proposed course is to acquaint B.Sc. students in Forestry with the principles, basic mechanisms and systems of internal combustion engines, structure of tractors and trucks and fundamentals of theory of ground vehicle.

Subject: Theory of internal combustion engines, design of automotive engine mechanisms, transmissions of tractors and automobiles, vehicle drivetrains, steering and braking systems, specialized tractors and trucks used in forestry, dynamics, tractive and braking characteristics, stability steering ability and mobility.
