Purpose and objectives of the course: To introduce students in the specialty "Agronomy" and "Plant Protection" with the device of tractors and agricultural machinery, production and technical operation of the machine-tractor units and use their mechanization of processes in plant cultivation and animal breeding that knowledge is needed in the preparation and decision making related to the cultivation of agricultural crops and animals in agriculture.

Contents: Fundamentals of mechanization of processes in agriculture; energetic resources in agriculture; machines for mechanization of processes in plant cultivation and livestock production; acquisition of the machine-tractor units and modes of movement; design processes in agriculture; maintenance, repair and storage technology in agriculture.
