The aims of this course are to acquaint B.Sc. students in Business management with the systems and processes during the transportation of timber from the cutting area through the landings or storage sites to the customer’s facilities.
Subject of study are the structural elements and principles of timber transport systems formation. The topics those are connected to the nature of transport processes and operation, and also the consideration of making decisions concerning alternative transport solutions in forest logging.
Tasks of the course are to lay the basis for analyses and effective management of the logging transport.
