The course gives knowledge students for factors to determining suitability of forest sites to machinery applying and criteria for selecting the technology for afforestation. As basis for comparison of different technological schemes methodology for determining of technological costs is studying. Major topics are:

1. Reforestation of forest sites, and machine applying, and factors for determining suitability of forest sites for machine applying.
2. Characteristics of technological operations for reforestation, technological requirements, and system of machines for complex mechanization of the reforestation.
3. Technological costs and comparison between different technological schemes.

Complete technological project for reforestation of forest areas, at the end of this course students draw and present.
