The partnership aims to make scientific knowledge accessible to a wider audience and to provide children and young people with opportunities to explore science through engaging, interactive and hands-on activities.

The Memorandum was signed on behalf of the University of Forestry by Prof. Dr. Landscape Architect Elena Dragozova, Vice-Rector for Accreditation and Rankings, Communication Policy and Career Development, and by Eng. Yana Gocheva, a member of Muzeiko’s Education Team.

The cooperation will create opportunities for children to meet academics, researchers and specialists from the University of Forestry, who will introduce them to a diverse range of scientific fields and professions related to nature and natural resource management. Topics to be explored through joint educational activities may include forests and their sustainable management, ecology, landscape architecture, veterinary medicine and nature conservation.

Planned activities include the development and implementation of educational, applied and research projects, seminars, workshops and open days, as well as participation in national and international conferences marking significant anniversaries and commemorative occasions. The partnership also provides for opportunities to host exhibitions, showcase student projects and develop joint initiatives tailored to the interests and needs of different audiences.

The Memorandum also provides for student placements and internships at Muzeiko for students enrolled in the University of Forestry’s bachelor’s and master’s degree programmes. In this way, the partnership will support not only science engagement among children, but also the acquisition of practical experience by university students in an educational and cultural setting.

The two institutions will maintain active communication and develop appropriate formats for joint activities, as well as for presenting and promoting their outcomes. Specific initiatives will be implemented under additional agreements setting out the relevant arrangements and responsibilities of each party.

This partnership reflects the University of Forestry’s role not only as an academic institution dedicated to educating future professionals and advancing scientific research, but also as an active contributor to public engagement and knowledge sharing. Through its cooperation with Muzeiko, the University will expand opportunities for young people to engage with science and develop an interest in nature, sustainability and the professions that contribute to environmental protection.

The interest in science begins with curiosity of the youngest’s one , and knowledge shared at an early age can help young people discover their future interests and career paths.

["post-45876","news-and-events","type-news-and-events","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry
["GET
