Students from Angel Popov Vocational High School of Construction, Architecture and Geodesy Visit the University of Forestry

The University of Forestry welcomed students from Angel Popov Vocational High School of Construction, Architecture and Geodesy in Veliko Tarnovo as part of the initiative “My Future Career Path”, aimed at supporting career guidance and helping young people make informed choices about their future academic and professional development.

The visit included 9th-, 10th-, and 11th-grade students specializing in Park Construction and Landscaping and Interior Design, who had the opportunity to explore the University’s facilities, academic environment, and educational opportunities within the Faculty of Ecology and Landscape Architecture and the Faculty of Forest Industry.

During the meetings, the students were introduced to the University’s academic programs, the practice-oriented approach to education, and the career prospects in the fields of landscape architecture, design, ecology, and forest industry. The visit also provided valuable insight into university life and created opportunities for direct interaction with academic staff and university representatives.

Such initiatives are an important part of the University of Forestry’s commitment to supporting young people in their career orientation and strengthening the connection between secondary and higher education. The University consistently encourages collaboration with schools across the country and fosters an open and welcoming academic environment for prospective students.

The visit was organized with the support of the University’s Rectorate leadership, Prof. Ekaterina Todorova, PhD, Dean of the Faculty of Ecology and Landscape Architecture, and Assoc. Prof. Diana Malinova, PhD, Vice-Dean of the Faculty.
