REGFUR Project – No. 2026-1-PL01-KA220-VET-000456878

The University of Forestry is a full partner in the project “Enhancing the knowledge, skills and competences of students in wood technology and related fields with regard to regional differences in design” (REGFUR). The project is funded by the European Union under the Erasmus+ Programme, Key Action 2 – Cooperation partnerships in vocational education and training (KA220-VET).

The project is implemented by a consortium of nine organisations from Poland, Bulgaria, Albania, Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Italy and Kosovo. The lead partner and project coordinator is the Polish Chamber of Commerce of Furniture Manufacturers (OIGPM), based in Warsaw, Poland.

REGFUR aims to develop students’ knowledge, skills and competences in woodworking, furniture manufacturing and design, with a focus on regional traditions and distinctive features. Through cooperation between universities, industry organisations and enterprises, the project will develop training materials and a multilingual e-learning platform and deliver practical training that combines design, production technologies, management and entrepreneurship.

The involvement of the University of Forestry will support the modernisation of education at the Faculty of Forest Industry, strengthen links with the furniture industry and expand opportunities for students’ professional development and international academic cooperation.
